Charmaine W. is currently a first year student studying BSc Psychology. Singapore Society provided her with a comfort bubble in a foreign environment and she strives to carry on the tradition and pass on this feeling to all new students joining the society. She finds joy in visiting cafes as much as she does art museums. Friendly and welcoming, she wishes to make SingSoc an inclusive society for Singaporeans and non-Singaporeans alike. Juliana K. is a current first year studying Psychology in Education (PiE). She enjoys reading, writing, and playing the ukulele in her spare time. She is always down to get bubble tea and loves meeting new people. Although she isn’t Singaporean, she is enthusiastic about helping out and participating in SingSoc events! Joan A. is a first year studying English Literature. For her, SingSoc has been a nice place that has helped her feel connected to home in a new place. Aside from managing the society’s logistics, she aims to help organise more events for SingSoc, both inside and outside of York.
